My spirit animal is a Lion because when I took a test it came up as a Lion out of an otter, golden reciever, and a beaver. But I got the lion.

This took a while but I finally have completed my master piece. This made me proud to finish I,d like to thank my family and friends for my life's achievement.

squash and stretch

Animation specific 

I learned a lot of squash and stretch today and for the past couple of days. This was fun because I always see this in Veggie Tales and I watched that a lot when I was little and my sister watches this now. It was a little difficult doing this on photoshop.

Summary of Article

In the article "They love your GPA, then they saw your Tweets" by Natasha Singer from New York Times, it talks about how your social media can hurt you if you put bad comments or posts in it. She found that some colleges do check there students social media but some do not. It was interesting to find that a lot of people don't get they earned because of there posts on social media.

Things that surprised me

When Natasha Singer did not realizes that colleges keep track of their social media mentions and I thought when I saw that I was like "Ha, got her there." Another thing that surprised me was when 30 percent of the admissions officers said they had discovered information online that had negativity affected an applicant's prospects.

Things that confused me

10 schools that agreed to interviews with Natasha Singer said that it was not practice to view social media posts and that surprised me a lot. Why wouldn't someone check when there going to let this person in. Another school (University of Vermont) said they chose not to do this as well.

Does this impact me?

No, I hardly use social media and when I do I never put anything bad in it.
